Family 300
After serving in the communities, we quickly recognized three critical needs that deeply impact families each day: safe places to cook meals, adequate sleeping spaces for children, and the overall condition and safety of homes. These aren’t just physical needs—they are opportunities to bring hope, dignity, and the love of Christ into each household.
Through our Family 300 program, a $300 donation directly supports one of these three life-changing projects. Whether it’s building a safe cooking area, providing beds for children, or improving a family’s home, each project meets a tangible need while also creating space to share the Gospel. As we serve, we intentionally build relationships, pray with families, and point them to the hope found in Jesus—living out the calling to be His hands and feet in a real and impactful way.
Wood Burning Stoves
One of the core projects in our Family 300 program is providing wood-burning stoves that can last 20+ years and transform daily life for a family. These stoves use less firewood, significantly reduce harmful smoke inhalation, and even help warm the home—bringing both health and comfort.
We saw the urgency of this need firsthand while visiting a single mother caring for her four children, with a baby on her back. She was cooking in a small, enclosed space with no ventilation. The walls and ceiling were covered in a thick layer of soot—evidence of the smoke her family breathed in every day. In that moment, it became clear that this wasn’t just about cooking—it was about protecting lives.
Through each stove we install, we don’t just meet a physical need—we open the door to share the love of Christ, pray with families, and remind them that they are seen and cared for by God.

Bunk Beds
In many homes, limited space means families are forced into difficult and heartbreaking sleeping situations. Our bunk bed project provides a simple but powerful solution—giving children a safe, comfortable place to sleep and restoring dignity to the home.
During one visit, we met a family of eight living in a very small space. As we talked, we asked where everyone slept. What we heard was heartbreaking—two of the children slept on a piece of cardboard behind a door. In that moment, it was clear something had to change.
Bunk beds don’t solve every challenge, but they make a meaningful difference. No more sleeping on the floor. No more overcrowded beds. Just a safe place to rest. And through each delivery, we build relationships, share the Gospel, and show families that God sees them, knows their needs, and cares deeply for them.

Home Projects
Many homes in these communities are built with tin roofing that deteriorates over time, leaving families vulnerable—especially during the rainy season. Our home projects focus on repairing and improving living conditions by providing stronger roofs, safer structures, and, when needed, entirely new spaces to live.
This need became real during a visit to a woman from our church. Her living conditions were devastating—we had to crawl on our knees just to enter her home, and there were no proper walls to protect her. She had endured deep loss, having lost her son and been abandoned by her husband, leaving her in an incredibly difficult situation.
Through God’s provision, we were able to build her a new home—one with solid walls and a secure roof to keep her safe and dry. She also received a bed and a stove, transforming not just her home, but her sense of hope.
These projects go beyond construction—they are opportunities to share the Gospel, pray with families, and remind them that God is a refuge and provider. Each home represents not just shelter, but the love and faithfulness of Christ in action.
