About Us
Our Story
We started ONE for Guate in 2015, and since the very beginning, we have watched God faithfully put every piece together. We believe that we were called to something bigger than ourselves - to share the Gospel and serve communities in need. In 2016, we stepped out in faith and moved to Guatemala, trusting that God would lead the way.
Today, we are raising our three children here while continuing to grow the ministry the Lord has entrusted to us. What began as a simple “yes” to God has grown into a children’s feeding center, a local church, the Family 300 outreach program, a community health center, and opportunities to host and serve alongside international volunteers.
This journey has not been easy—it has been a road marked by trial, trust, and perseverance. But through it all, we have seen God’s hand over every step. He has provided, guided, and done more than we could have ever imagined on our own. From the start, we chose to walk by faith, believing that it would be God - not us - who would make a way.
Our prayer is that our story would encourage you to take a step of faith as well, trusting that God has a purpose for your life and that He is able to do far more than you could ever ask or imagine.
Our Mission
Our mission is to live out the Great Commission commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28. We are called to go beyond words—living out our faith through action, meeting both physical and spiritual needs, and reflecting the love of Christ in everything we do. As Scripture says, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news” (Romans 10:15).
Through home projects, feeding programs, health education, and daily relationships, we seek to serve with compassion and purpose—pointing every person we encounter to the hope found in Jesus. Our desire is not only to help meet immediate needs, but to build lasting relationships where lives are transformed by the truth of the Gospel.
In all things, we aim to faithfully follow God’s call, serving others with humility, love, and a deep commitment to making Him known.
Our Vision
Our vision is simple, but God-sized—to reach as many people as possible with the hope of the Gospel. We believe the Lord has both blessed and called us for a purpose, and it is our responsibility to faithfully follow where He leads and steward what He has given us. As Scripture reminds us, “to whom much is given, much will be required” (Luke 12:48).
We are committed to expanding our reach into more communities, meeting real needs through projects that bring both practical help and spiritual hope. This includes growing our feeding programs so more families are nourished, developing additional community projects that improve daily life, and increasing access to medical care for those who need it most.
At the heart of it all is the Gospel. Every project, every meal, and every act of service is an opportunity to share the love of Jesus and point people to Him. Our prayer is that God would continue to open doors, allowing us to serve more people, impact more lives, and see His kingdom grow—one community at a time.
